Spectrum Continues the Legacy of Giving
Spectrum Productions once again participated in the spectacular fundraiser that allows the twinkle toes of Brevard Country, Florida to dance their way to supporting the KLD Youth Foundation on Saturday, June 6th, 2010 at Rosen's Shingle Creek in Orlando.  Spectrum's full production of the KLD Youth Foundation event included three live cameras, GT (eco friendly) truss and lighting, as well as a full line array sound system and two dozen production staff.  The black tie affair raised $250,000 for at-risk and special needs kids.

The Central Florida Make a Wish Foundation's 16th Annual Wishmaker's Ball on May 25th, 2010 was held at the new Hilton Bonnett Creek in Orlando.  Spectrum's Freda Agner handled the production flawlessly from the fabulous 36 foot wide screen serving as a dynamic virtual set; to the multi-camera i-mag and moving light package. The event raised more than $270,000 with all of the money going toward the wishes of children in the North and Central Florida area suffering from life threatening illnesses.

Spectrum Productions was honored to be chosen to produce this year's Annual Arthritis Walk Event for the Arthritis Foundation held on May 22nd at Atlantic Station in downtown Atlanta.  The walk-a-thon event, which boasted attendance of both local and national celebrities such as Hank Aaron, included production elements encompassing staging and concert sound with full line-array.  The event raised nearly $275,000 for the research and treatment of this disease.  Spectrum Productions was proud to be a part of the Walk Now for Autism Speaks event on the very next day, which was also a well attended outdoor event raising both money and awareness for this often misunderstood disorder. Providing staging and extensive audio as well as production labor, Spectrum was able to support Autism Speaks on a day when over $637,000 was raised.

In addition to the countless hours of donated production expertise provided by the talented staff at Spectrum Productions, the company gave in excess of $52,000 of in-kind donations to these worthy events, all while integrating  green technology lighting and sound production with living-wage labor practices.

Can You Green Your Break-Out?
Absolutely!  Hitachi's Starboard FX Duo interactive whiteboard provides an opportunity for your presentation to be truly paperless.  The interactive board, now available in Spectrum Production's standard inventory, allows users to write with an electronic pen -thereby eliminating the dry erase marker smell of traditional white boards.  These advanced interactive whiteboards will also respond at twice the speed of writing to the touch of a finger and a multi-hand gesture such as zooming in or activating a link to an internet site. This conference year, skip the cumbersome flip chart and keep your audience's attention with multi-media interaction and blu-tooth connection capability for participants.

Can You Green Your General Session?
Absolutely!  With Hitachi's same Starboard FX Duo interactive whiteboard, the integrated outputs can be utilized to present information in traditional or multi-media formats to projection screens for all of your attendees to see, whether 250 or 2500. And the entire presentation, with annotations, can be saved and distributed to the attendees.

To see how this product can make a dramatic difference in your presentation style while staying green, email or call us.

Inventory Expands in Audio and Video Departments

Over 60 NEC NP-60 projectors have been added to the Spectrum Productions video department inventory this season.  With superior optics in addition to the preferred DVI input connections, this unit is a huge step up from conventional break-out projectors in terms of both image quality and convenience to the user.

A new batch of EAW JF 80 speakers have been added to our inventory.  The JF80 is a long time favorite for corporate audiovisual.  The JF80 is engineered for
exceptional performance in the nearfield from a compact enclosure. Surprisingly high output, exceptional fidelity. Very effective as a fill/delay element in larger overall systems or for foreground/background music reproduction.
