Release: Office Relocation - New Event Support Center
December 15, 2006, Atlanta, GA – Spectrum Productions, Inc.
today announced plans to move its headquarters to a new location
in Norcross, GA.
Scheduled to open on December 21st, 2006, Spectrum Productions
new Event Support Center will be located at 5901 Goshen Springs
Road across the street from the old location. The building is
approximately one-half miles off of I-85 at Jimmy Carter
Boulevard on the north side of metro Atlanta.
The 30,000 square-foot space on Goshen Springs Road will
significantly increase Spectrum Productions’ office, meeting
space, and warehouse space. In particular, the building will
feature a one of a kind Scenic Showroom that will allow meeting
planners and producers to see, in person, the company's scenic
offerings. “We’ve seen some phenomenal growth in our business
over the past few years,” said Preston MacIntyre, who is
entering his 18th year as Spectrum Production's president. “In
2001, just days before 9/11, we moved to our current Goshen
Springs office with room to spare. The uncertainty following
9/11 initially worried us, but we have managed double digit
sales growth ever since. We simply outgrew our space.”
Rick Spiller, Partner at Wilson, Hull and Neal, a full-service
real estate firm, represented Spectrum Productions, Inc. in the
transaction. This is the third five-year deal negotiated by
Spiller for Spectrum Productions.
The new location will be designated The Event Support Center.
The name reflects the passion of the company for producing
exceptional events. "Whether an order is a large-scale
production or a small microphone rental, we are dedicated to
providing outstanding service that supports excellence in
production," said MacIntyre about the naming of the facility. An
open house is planned for the 1st quarter of 2007 to give
partners and customers a chance to experience the scenic
showroom first hand. In addition, scheduled production
demonstrations will educate clients on the practical
applications of the company's newest technology.
